Naked Confessions of a Recovering Catholic – Chorlton Irish Club

Chorlton Irish Club

FRI 2ND NOV, 2012 7.30pm

A collision of Stand up+The Confessional.

An hilarious romp through the troubled inner-city Manchester childhood of one of Britain’s most notorious and outspoken TV presenters, Terry Christian.

Terry bares all in his debut stand-up show, ‘Naked Confessions of a Recovering Catholic’, lifting the lid on his Catholic upbringing; Madchester; The Word; Hollywood Stars; and Celebrity Big Brother in the process – definitely not for the fainthearted! When gang warfare in Moss Side and Old Trafford is the least of your worries – compared to sadistic nuns, paedophile priests and your best mate being the local hard nut who just wants to kick your head in – is it any wonder Terry turned out a tw*t?!

    Hi Terry,

I’d love to catch your “Confessions” tour.

I’m flying back to Blighty on Thursday 3 April and departing on Wednesday 9 April, mainly to see our eldest, Melanie appearing with All Saints together with The Backstreet Boys at the O2 Centre on Friday 4th and at the Phones 4 U Arena in Manchester on Saturday 5th. (pity United are away Newcastle that weekend)

Then I’m back on Thursday 1 May in order to attend the Red News Annual Dinner at the Cresta Court Hotel, Altringham on Friday 2 May. Guest speaker is the original King, Denis Law. Then it’s Sunderland at home on Saturday 3 May before flying back on Sunday 4 May.

Where can I see your show? Do tell.

    Red regards

    David
